a school place online. You can apply from the September before your child is due to start school. You can also ask the office for more information or get an admission form.
Understanding Catchment Distances
Most schools allocate remaining places based on straight-line distance from the school gates after priority criteria (like Looked After Children or Siblings) are met. As a result, exact "catchment postcodes" do not permanently exist. The cut-off distance shrinks or expands every single year depending on local birth rates and application volume.
